About these terms
These terms govern your use of the FLR Works website. FLR Works is a trade name operated by Erik Florencio, an individual operating in Brazil; in these terms, “FLR Works”, “we” and “us” refer to him in that capacity. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it. How we handle personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
What this site is
The site presents the studio, its services, its way of working and selected work, and offers a way to get in touch. It is provided for general information. Descriptions of services and projects are not a promise that a particular service, outcome, price or timeline is available to you.
Enquiries do not create a contract
Sending a message through the contact form, or contacting us in any other way, does not create a client relationship, a contract or any obligation for either side. It does not reserve time or guarantee a reply. Anything we discuss with you before an agreement is signed is preliminary.
Projects are governed by separate agreements
Any project with FLR Works is carried out under a separate written commercial agreement that sets out the scope, deliverables, fees, timing, ownership and other terms. These terms do not replace that agreement, and the agreement, once in place, applies to the project.
Intellectual property
The original parts of this website belong to FLR Works: its design, layout, code, original text and content, and its own name and brand, all protected by applicable intellectual property law. Some material on the site is used with permission or under a licence from its owners. Names, trademarks, logos, screenshots and other assets of clients and other third parties that appear on the site, including in the work shown, remain the property of their respective owners, are shown only to present the work, and are not transferred to you or to FLR Works by being displayed here. You may view the site and share its pages by link, but you may not copy, reproduce, modify or reuse the content, design or code of FLR Works, or any third-party material shown on it, beyond what the law allows without the prior written permission of the relevant owner.
Acceptable use
Please use the site and the contact form normally and lawfully. You agree not to:
- send unlawful, misleading, abusive or malicious content through the site;
- use the contact form for spam, or automate it to send messages in bulk;
- try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems;
- bypass or interfere with security or anti-abuse measures;
- scrape or copy the site at scale, or use it to build a competing copy.
We may limit or block access, or ignore submissions, that we reasonably believe break these terms or put the site at risk.
External links and services
The site may link to other websites and services, and the contact form relies on third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms apply when you use them.
Availability and changes to the site
We work to keep the site available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those that the law does not allow us to exclude. To the extent the law allows, FLR Works is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses that arise from using the site or relying on its content, and our liability for anything connected with the site is limited to what applicable law requires. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law, including consumer protection law where it applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. This does not take away any right that mandatory law gives you, including under consumer-protection and data-protection rules, or your right to bring a claim before any court that is competent under the law. Where a dispute cannot be settled directly, it may be submitted to the competent courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
